I stopped by the the Oakdale Farmer's Market today and picked up some sweet corn, potatoes and a watermelon and I was shucking the corn and Teddy decided he wanted some, he just came and took it from my hand. He's not normally badly behaved, and I just couldn't yell at him, cuz it was so freaking cute! Here are some pictures of his adventure. I know it's a picture a day, but I had to document the event.

Birthday weekend
My pictures today are from my birthday on Friday. Megan, Ross, Jeremy and I went to Turtle Lake Casino and spent the night at the hotel. After we all lost money gambling, we went back to the room, played some cards, adult mad libs (which are awesome) and had Pink Champagne cake which I bought at the grocery store in Wisconsin. It was a good, chill celebration spent with my favorite people. On Saturday, I got to see my little buddy Mason, and had dinner with my mom.

Little, Fuzzy, black puppy (days 20, 21 and 22)

This is what I wake up to every morning, this little fuzzy face. He likes to sleep on his back and wait for me while I take a shower. He knows the routine every weekday, Jeremy gets up and leaves and he takes his spot. When I get up to take a shower, he keeps sleeping and then when I'm done, he knows it's time for me to go to work and him to go in his kennel. I'm blessed with this little puff ball, he has such a personality and has been my little buddy, even before Jeremy was around. Here's some pics of him from the past few mornings, including one from this morning.

I'm getting bad at this
Here's 2 pictures for the days I missed. We're getting ready to go out to dinner, because it's my birthday tomorrow! On Saturday, look for pics from our casino trip! In the meantime, here you go: The first is of my old dog, Bailey. I really miss him and he was just so freaking cute. The second is sticking with the jewelry theme, with a post of my favorite pieces...My wedding/engagement rings, of course!

Day 14/15

I missed it yesterday, so here's my make-up pictures. The weather here is finally nice, but it's going to be difficult for me to enjoy it because my eye allergies decided to act up yesterday and today and I think the wind and stuff in the air will only make it worse. The first pic is of the beautiful sky that I can actually see through an OPEN window without dying of heat exhaustion. The second is for the plastic theme. While sitting here, I found as much plastic around me as I could find on the desk and put it all together.

My own llama/alpaca farm

Since I've never been into shoes (I'm a handbag girl) because I've always had big feet and am not the most graceful on heels, I'm posting randomly today. This is a picture of what has evolved into a little collection. I started with the little white one on the far left that I saw at World Market (when they used to be here) and I just had to have it. It branched into one on the end on the right side and the little one next to it (from Barnes and Noble) and then the brown one, which is from the alpaca store at Rosedale mall (I paid wayyy too much for that little thing, but it's so darn cute!) and finally the middle one, which is actually the same as the one on the end, just newer which was from my best friend on my wedding day! My photographer even took a picture of me holding it, which is also below :D Someday, maybe Jeremy and I will have enough land to have some little llamas or alpacas of our own. :)

After the rain
This is from a few weeks ago. I can't look at it without laughing and thinking of that youtube video with the guy going crazy over a rainbow. Sorry if my blogs have been lame lately...I just realized I'm not doing a very good job of taking a picture a day. I hope that's okay ..anyway, these pictures are new to you readers, right??

Totally 80's! (or as much as we could have been in 2009)
Today's theme is retro. There's really nothing retro about this picture, except our attire (even though my shirt was brand new, and you really can't see my sweet side half ponytail :). This is from 80s night at The Melting Pot last year. Megan and I always go out to dinner for our birthdays (since we're a week apart) and thought it would be fun to participate in this celebration they had. It was complete with 80s music throughout the night, 80s trivia and 80s attired waitstaff.

Fur Babies :)
Since today's theme is animals, you all get to see my little fur-babies for the first time (of many in the next year, I'm sure) The first is of my black Pomeranian, Teddy. He is 4 years old and is mine and Jeremy's little buddy. He is so adorable and I love him so much.

Farmer's Market Thursday

Every Thursday, I take a different way home just so I can stop at the farmer's market. I went there with my last $5 cash intending to purchase snap peas and some baby red potatoes. Oh no, no. What did I purchase? The most amazing smelling flowers ever! I know it's foolish since I have a little kitty cat that doesn't like to have any flowers in the house but I just had to! If you could only smell the lilies, you would understand as well. Don't mind the messy kitchen table backdrop...And sorry for the horrible photo quality as well..I took it with my crappy camera on the Blackberry, it doesn't do the flowers ANY justice :)

My Happy Place
A lot of things make me happy, (like my husband, pets, friends, family, etc) but since there's much more to come in the next year, I decided to post a picture of my FAVORITE place in the world...CHICAGO! I love that it's so close to home, yet feels like another world. This is a picture from our honeymoon in February taken from the observatory at the John Hancock Tower. I can't wait to go back again soon!

It's a Fiesta!
I wasn't going to follow the theme, since I have so many pictures that I want to take, but then I realized that I have 363 more days to do that :) So, going along with the "colorful" theme today, my husband actually gave me the idea to photograph my Fiestaware, because it's probably the most colorful thing I see all day. So here ya go, a picture of the majority of my Fiestaware, that I got as a gift from my aunt/uncle and mom at my first bridal shower in November of last year. (and yes, I'm a nerd for photographing my set of dishes!)

What I did at work

So, since I'm on the phone all day, and was recently trained into a slower line of business, I have a lot of down time between calls. For the last few days, I've been working on this doodle project that I got inspiration from a picture I found on Google. Here is my finished project, which is now proudly taped up in my cube! I'd like to thank my office for supplying the legal pad, the felt tip pen and all the square and rectangle office objects that I traced the outlines of to get the main lines in the picture. :)

The Journey Begins Today!

So I originally found this on Facebook, and decided to start my own! This is a 365-day photo blog, with one picture a day. I'm charging up my camera right now, so I'm starting with a picture from this morning, of the blanket in the old motel we stayed at in Bloomer, WI. I called a ton of hotels to try to book something for the night, but only one was available, it was a bit musty smelling, and had lime green furniture and old textured drapes. But it was cheap, and clean, but was a tad scary. I was surprised to see a Ralph Lauren tag on the blanket.
